Sweet MiMi passed away early Sunday morning after a long, hard battle with cancer. She lived with this horrible disease for over 17 years before it finally took her over. I encourage everyone to go to the America Cancer Society website and join the fight against cancer. If we are lucky, maybe a cure for cancer will be found during our lifetime.
Although MiMi didn't have much to say towards the end, her face always lit up when she saw Aubree Michelle! Less than a week ago when her words were getting fewer and far between, I sat Aubree in front of her and she opened her eyes, smiled and said "Isn't she just the most precious thing?" We will always tell Aubree how just the sight of her would bring such joy to her Great Meems in more ways than she will ever be able to understand.
That made me cry...Aubree will always know that she was so precious to her meme!
